File a Case

The Kogi State High Court of Justice is committed to making justice more accessible through modern filing systems and electronic services. Citizens, lawyers, and institutions can now begin case filing processes and access essential forms online, reducing delays and bringing justice closer to the people.

This service ensures that case filing is efficient, transparent, and user-friendly, in line with global best practices in judicial administration.

Why E-Filing Matters

Traditionally, case filing required physical presence at the registry, often leading to delays and congestion. With e-filing and digital forms (e-forms), litigants can:

  • File cases online without visiting the registry.

  • Access and download required forms anytime.

  • Reduce paperwork and streamline documentation.

  • Track the status of filings with greater ease.

  • Save time and cost while ensuring transparency.
